60th Anniversary Program Highlight: Campstock

Written by Tova Blasberg

Get ready to relive the magic of Camp at one of our all-time favorite evening programs: Campstock! Also fondly known in recent years as Sha’ar-nival, this cherished tradition is making a grand return to celebrate our 60th anniversary, and it will be bigger and better than ever!

Picture this: an unforgettable evening filled with music that will have you dancing and singing along, paired with the excitement of a carnival that brings the whole Kehillah (community) together. Campstock will feature an incredible lineup of activities and stations for everyone to enjoy. Stations include tie-dye, hair wraps, face painting, jewelry making, fortune-telling, cookie decorating, and more. You’ll get to keep the memory of the night with your camp friends by taking fun snapshots at the photobooth, too!

Get in on a game of ultimate frisbee, basketball, beach volleyball, tetherball, or tushball, or enjoy lawn games with your camp crew. We’re also sure that bouncing in giant inflatables will undoubtedly bring out your inner camper!

Throughout the evening, you can also take a peaceful stroll down to Makom Shalom to gather around the campfire. Whether you’re reconnecting with the Interlaken family or experiencing Campstock for the first time, this night will celebrate Kehillah and the joy that Camp Interlaken brings to all of us.

Don’t miss out on this incredible night of music, creativity, and connection – it will be a highlight of our 60th anniversary celebration!
