Camp Fees & Financial Support

The Steve & Shari Sadek Family Camp Interlaken JCC is blessed with the support of our camp families, alumni, donors, and institutional supporters. Now more than ever, Camp Interlaken could benefit from your support.

We are grateful to the vision and generosity of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and JCamp180, who have created the “All Together Now” matching grant for Jewish camp, where a donation of all or any portion of your camper payment will be matched dollar for dollar. 

Facing ongoing operational costs, facility maintenance, staffing costs — as well as the impact of the hundreds of thousands of dollars already spent towards the summer of 2020 — we are looking ahead to 2021 and beyond to ensure the sustainability of our program. 

If you are able to make a donation in any amount, we would be incredibly appreciative. We recognize these are difficult economic times. We want to remain financially sensitive and offer a range of options to meet the various needs of our community. Families who are currently registered for Camp, our Teen Israel trip, and Family Camp will receive an email on Wednesday, May 20th, with a link to a personalized form to indicate their preference. Here are the options for our Camp families regarding their camp fees:

Option #1: Roll over payment to next summer… we want you back!
All balances will remain as a credit on your account for the Summer of 2021.  The dates for 2021 can be found here.  This option helps stabilize Camp Interlaken’s financial position as we begin to plan for Summer 2021.  

Option #2: Pay it forward… if you are in a position to help.
As you know, Camp Interlaken JCC is a mission-driven, non-profit organization. JCamp180 and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation have recognized the current need for support of Jewish camping and have created the “All Together Now” matching grant for Jewish Camp; a donation of all or any portion of your camper payment will be matched dollar for dollar. These tax-deductible donations will support Camp Interlaken and help offset the hundreds of thousands of dollars that have already been spent planning for the summer of 2020. 

Option #3: Full refund… these are difficult economic times.
Upon request, we will refund the full amount that you have paid toward enrollment for the summer of 2020. Refunds will be processed by our accounting department in two installments on June 15th and July 15th, 2020.  

Option 4: Combination of the above… each option resonates.
In whatever way this feels most comfortable for your family, please select a combination of Option #1, Option #2, and/or Option #3 (roll over, donate, refund). Please know that, prior to (and throughout) the COVID-19 crisis, Camp Interlaken JCC incurred significant expenses in order to prepare for the summer; thus, any ability to roll over or donate (with Harold Grinspoon Foundation matching funds) is greatly appreciated.
