Weather can be extremely variable at camp. Typical summer weather at camp will be in the 80s during the day and in the high 40s/low 50s at night. Warm clothing and rainwear are essential.

Eagle River is a small town located in the North of Wisconsin approximately 4.5 hours north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and about 6 hours north of Chicago.

Camp Interlaken has a little over 100 staff that come from near and far. Most of the domestic staff have been campers or involved in the Camp Interlaken family in the past. Most of our international staff have come from Israel, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Poland and Hungary.

There are two options. We have a laundry service pick up laundry once a week. It will come back washed, dried, folded. We also have two washer and driers on site for staff to use at their leisure.

Yes. We have several computers and Wi-Fi located in the staff lounge.

All staff live on-site. Our counselors have a dedicated room in each cabin. Our specialists live in housing dedicated to specialty staff.

•  All staff have the option to take the free chartered bus service that departs from the Milwaukee JCC.
• You can drive yourself to Camp or get dropped off.
• We will pick you up at the Rhinelander or Wausau airport

Eagle River is centrally located around several towns that have may attractions to see. Many staff will travel into town, see a movie, relax at the beach, shop, travel to Bond Falls or even relax around camp.
